The M1 Ultra is a doubled-up version of the M1 Max with a 20-core GPU and a 64-core GPU, but the " M2 Extreme" Apple is making for the Mac Pro will be even more powerful and it is expected to be a successor to the M1 Ultra. The Mac Studio is a cross between a Mac Pro and a Mac mini, and it features high-powered M1 Max and M1 Ultra chips. There were rumors of a smaller Mac Pro in development, but that turned out to be the Mac Studio, a separate product line introduced in March 2022. Apple has confirmed that it is working on a next-generation version of the Mac Pro with Apple silicon chips.
